Wedding Guests Watch As Israel?s Missile Defense System Blasts Rockets Out of the Sky

Wedding guests in the southern Israeli city of Beersheba apparently witnessed Israel?s Iron Dome missile defense system in action blasting incoming rockets out of the sky as a cover version of a Maroon 5 song played.

Video posted to YouTube on Thursday features guests applauding as rockets are blasted away, with air raid sirens wailing in the background.

A description of the video posted on the Internet forum Reddit states: ?Sirens interrupted a wedding in the city of Beersheba (about 25 miles from Gaza) and a photographer caught a barrage of rockets on video. You can also see about a dozen Iron Dome interceptions.?

The Israeli military said Iron Dome intercepted more than 80 rockets from Gaza into Israel on Friday alone, the third day of fierce exchanges between Israel and Hamas militants.
